License Settings

Manage your Certum Draft license from the License tab in Preferences.

License Status

The license panel shows your current status:

  • Licensed - Your license is active and valid
  • Email - The email address associated with your license (if provided during activation)

Changing Your License

If you need to enter a different license key (for example, if you received a new key from your administrator):

  1. Open Preferences (⌘,)
  2. Go to the License tab
  3. Click Deactivate License
  4. Enter your new license key
  5. Click Activate

Deactivation

After deactivating, you'll need to enter a valid license key to continue using Certum Draft.

License Key Format

License keys look like this:

CERTUM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-[signature]

The signature portion after the last hyphen is a long string of characters. Make sure to copy the entire key when pasting.

Getting a License

License keys are provided by your firm's administrator. If you need a license key:

  1. Contact your IT administrator or the person who manages Certum Draft
  2. They will generate a key for you using the License Generator tool
  3. You'll receive the key via email or internal message

Troubleshooting

"Invalid license key"

  • Make sure you copied the entire key, including the long signature after the last hyphen
  • Try pasting the key instead of typing it
  • Ask your administrator to resend the key

License stopped working

This can happen if:

  • The app was updated with a new license verification key
  • Your administrator revoked all existing licenses

Contact your administrator for a new license key.
